Solid Ground Practice

This practice greatly helped me in the beginning of my healing journey. And I still use this one every day. Literally it is the basis of all energy work, and it is like the  foundation for you to build an energy clearing practice on. It seems unrelated to love or partnerships at first. But don’t worry. Especially if you are new to this, you will soon start to see that everything we do here, is connected to love and relationships.

Take a moment where you are alone and undisturbed. Take a seat, make sure you are sitting comfortably. Close your eyes, and take a moment to feel your body. Say ‘hello’ to yourself, gently. Using your name is really nice during this practice. It helps you focus your energy and attention on you, in that moment.

When you feel that you are focussed on yourself, feeling your body, take your attention to the lowest point of your spine, where you are sitting on the ground (or chair). Now imagine a chord, rope or beam of light coming from the lowest point of your spine and entering directly into the earth. Let your chord move fearlessly and effortlessly through the various layers of the earth. Let it sink in as deep as you can, until you reach the centre of the earth.

Take a short while to connect your chord, or light beam or rope to the centre of the earth. Nothing you see or feel happening is ‘wrong’. This exercise is your intuition showing you your grounding chord, your connection to the earth and your physicality. Take a moment to feel and deeply honour your connection to the earth. You can write your name and the date into your chord.

When you feel you are done, open your eyes to the room. Don’t forget to thank yourself for your practice!
